Our Academy Director, Karen Paul, is a seasoned expert in her field, with many years of experience teaching art in both public and private schools. She holds a Bachelor of Illustration and Master of Fine Art in Painting from the prestigious Academy of Art University, San Francisco. She has developed curricula for a wide range of in-person and online art courses, always blending her deep passion for teaching with her artistic flair. Karen is dedicated to delivering the highest quality art education, inspiring and every student she teaches

Karen Paul brings a wealth of experience and training across a broad range of artistic disciplines. Her expertise spans fine art landscapes, nature themes wildlife and portraiture as well as commercial illustration. She is highly skilled in instructing various mediums and techniques, including watercolor mastery, oil and acrylic painting on canvas, and drawing with graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, and both soft and oil pastels. Karen also specializes in mixed media approaches, offering students a comprehensive foundation in both traditional and contemporary art practices.
